1994

“It all started at the family home.Inspired by my father’s professional love, I started renovating furniture.”

1995

The company officially started operations under the name Bárkai Zsolt Antik Bt.
In May, the first factory was purchased under the nickname “Gombüzem” on Bocskai Street. We no longer operated as a garage workshop, but as a 500-sqm factory.

1998

Acquisition of a 2,000 sqm factory, which remains the main site today — marking a major leap forward.

2000

Liviel Ltd. was founded with a commitment to using recycled wood from day one.

2001

A 1,200 sqm dry storage hall was added to the existing facilities.

2002-2003

Expansion of a 350 sqm machine hall.

2004-2005

The heated workshop area was enlarged from 350 sqm to 700 sqm.

2007

A fire water reservoir was constructed to enhance safety.

2009

A comprehensive wood storage system was developed, which has since continued to expand.

2010

Intensive mechanization began, with continuous growth of the machine fleet to this day.

2015

Purchase of a dedicated showroom and shop on Király Street in Budapest.

2016

Expansion of the metalworking department, including the acquisition of a sheet metal shear.

2017

Purchase of our own parking space, which further expanded the area of ​​our premises.

2020

Completion of a 34-space employee parking area by summer.

2021

Purchase of a second CNC machining center with 3+1 axes.   

2022

Acquisition and renovation of the neighboring building and site.
Installation of a 100 kW solar park, covering nearly half of the site’s energy needs.

2023

Commissioning of a new, modern 800 sqm logistics warehouse.
Completion and handover of a new two-chamber drying kiln.

2024

Start of construction of a 200 cubic meter drying chamber.

2025

Launch of the “Wood Processing from Logs” project.
